Juan presento una de sus nuevas piezas. Aqui transcribo una parta del probrama. Tu recuerdo Manda: This piece seeks to integrate both my emotional and aesthetic influences in music. The text is a reconstruction of various lyrics of the Chilean songwriter Victor Jara, passing from love to political declamation, from sadness to hope. The computer’ s relationship to the voice searches for its own timre universe, without being intrusive. The electronic part is divided between real time signal processing and synthetic events. the computer performerfollows the cues for the programmed synthetic events, plays the indicated rythms with the synthesis engine and activates the live processing events. More than a duo, this piece aims to take Jara’s musical legacy and spread it over two persons. This piece is dedicated to Camille Hesketh.
